India’s Expanding Infrastructure Network Promotes ‘Ease of Living’: PM Modi
New Delhi, 11 June (Bhasha): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday highlighted that it has been 11 years since the start of what he described as a “revolution in infrastructure,” stating that India’s rapidly expanding infrastructure network is enhancing both ease of living and prosperity.
Taking to platform X, Modi posted, “It’s been 11 years since the infrastructure revolution began. With world-class infrastructure building, India’s development journey has progressed rapidly.”
He emphasized that India’s fast-growing infrastructure—from railways to highways, from ports to airports—is propelling ease of living and boosting economic prosperity.

The Prime Minister also shared a thread from the citizen engagement platform MyGovIndia, which showcases the transformation in India's infrastructure landscape over the past 11 years. One of the posts read, “Smart cities. Safer roads. Seamless mobility—this is the promise of New India’s infrastructure. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s infrastructure is accelerating towards the future.”
The post further stated, “This is a journey where steel meets spirit, and each milestone carries the aspirations of a billion people. Highways that shorten distances, bridges that connect communities, and digital networks that foster innovation—India is building more than just infrastructure. It is shaping confidence, connectivity, and a vibrant canvas for every Indian dream.”
The thread underscored that this transformation is not just about progress, but about the upliftment of every citizen and a commitment to reshaping India’s future.
In another post, PM Modi added, “India’s push for next-generation infrastructure is driven by sustainability and long-term vision.”
He concluded by noting that this journey is laying the foundation of an Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).
