Mumbai, June 10 – Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s latest comedy film ‘Housefull 5’ has surpassed the Rs 100 crore milestone in the Indian market within just four days of its release, as per agency report.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the fifth installment of the popular 'Housefull' franchise hit theatres on June 6. The star-studded ensemble includes Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Chitrangda Singh, Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Nikitin Dheer, Soundarya Sharma, Ranjeet, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, and Nana Patekar.

The film has garnered attention not just for its massive cast and high-energy comedy, but also for being released with two alternate climaxes, offering audiences a unique viewing experience.

According to trade tracking platform Sacnilk, ‘Housefull 5’ opened to a strong start, collecting Rs 24 crore on its first day. The momentum continued with Rs 31 crore on day two and Rs 32.5 crore on the third day. The early estimate for day four stands at Rs 13 crore, taking the total domestic collection to over Rs 100 crore.

With such a promising performance, 'Housefull 5' has reaffirmed the franchise’s commercial appeal and Akshay Kumar's standing as one of Bollywood’s leading entertainers.
