Vadodara Rural Police Organizes Creative Competition to Raise Awareness on New Criminal Laws
The Vadodara Rural District Police, under the initiative of Suraksha Setu Society, has launched a creative competition aimed at spreading public awareness about three newly implemented criminal laws introduced by the Government of India. The competition will be held from June 1 to June 15, 2025, and is open to all citizens residing in the district.
The competition is divided into three categories: photography, audio, and video. Participants are encouraged to submit original creative content related to the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023. All entries must be submitted to the email address surakshasetuvad@gmail.com and must include the participant’s name, address, and mobile number.
As per agency report, attractive prizes have been announced for each category. For the photography contest, the first prize is Rs. 5,000, second prize Rs. 3,000, and third prize Rs. 2,000. In the audio category, winners will receive Rs. 15,000, Rs. 10,000, and Rs. 5,000 for the first, second, and third places, respectively. The video competition offers the highest rewards, with Rs. 20,000 for first place, Rs. 15,000 for second place, and Rs. 10,000 for third place.
The results will be announced through the media on June 20, 2025. The decision of the judging panel will be final and binding. This initiative reflects a proactive step by the district police to ensure that citizens are informed and engaged in understanding the country’s evolving legal framework through creative expression.
