Rajkot : Government Employee Manojbhai Solanki Sets an Inspiring Example by Losing 15 Kg Under ‘Obesity-Free Gujarat’ Campaign

Rajkot, May 20 – Manojbhai Solanki, a 57-year-old staff member at the Regional Information Office in Rajkot, has become a source of inspiration by shedding 15 kilograms as part of the “Obesity-Free Gujarat” campaign. Through sheer willpower and a disciplined lifestyle, Solanki has demonstrated that with determination, any health goal can be achieved.

As per report, Solanki shared that he once weighed 95 kilograms, which has now reduced to 80 kilograms. He recalled feeling constantly fatigued and low on energy, making daily life monotonous. Observing the fitness and energy levels of his colleagues, he was motivated to take his own health seriously.

Detailing his weight loss journey, Solanki adopted a routine of daily yoga, walking three kilometers every day, eating green vegetables and raw salads, and drinking warm water infused with cumin seeds. He also made it a habit to eat a light dinner before 8 PM. These consistent practices not only helped reduce his weight but also significantly boosted his energy levels.

Urging others to join the movement, Solanki encouraged citizens to participate in the 'Healthy Gujarat, Obesity-Free Gujarat' campaign led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. He emphasized that obesity is not just physical weight but a gateway to various health complications. According to him, true happiness lies in a healthy life.

Solanki’s transformation is a testament to the power of lifestyle changes and stands as a motivating example for people across the state to prioritize their health and well-being.
