Surat, May 19 – The second edition of the AIC Infrastructure Women’s Challenger Tournament will be held at Surat’s Lalbhai Contractor Stadium under the joint auspices of the Gujarat Cricket Association and the Surat District Cricket Association (SDCA). The announcement was made by SDCA Cricket Secretary Dr. Naimesh Desai.
As per agency report, in preparation for the tournament, SDCA will organize selection trials for local women cricketers on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, starting at 8:30 AM. The trials will take place at the renowned Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat.
Aspiring female cricketers interested in participating are required to report to team coach Pragya Chaudhary by 8:00 AM on the day of the trials. The event aims to identify and nurture local talent, providing them with opportunities to compete at state and national levels.
SDCA has advised all participants to arrive on time and bring their personal cricket kits. The organizing committee has assured that the selection process will be conducted with full transparency and based strictly on merit.
