PM Modi Commends Armed Forces, Warns Pakistan Against Continued Terrorism from Its Soil

New Delhi, May 13 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a stern warning to Pakistan during his visit to the Adampur Air Force Station in Punjab, asserting that if terrorism from Pakistani soil continues, India will not hesitate to destroy its neighbour. Addressing Air Force personnel for the first time since the conclusion of 'Operation Sindoor', Modi lauded the Indian armed forces for their unprecedented valor and effectiveness in neutralizing threats.

As per agency report, Modi’s address was delivered from the Adampur Air Base, located merely 100 kilometers from the Pakistan border, adding strategic significance to his message. This was also the base that Pakistan had falsely claimed to have destroyed, including the Indian S-400 missile launcher stationed there. These claims were refuted by India, and images from the televised address, showing the S-400 launcher prominently behind the Prime Minister, served as visual rebuttal.

In his 27-minute address, Modi praised the armed forces for their precision and bravery, stating that the actions during the four-day-long operation were not only historic but unmatched in their execution. The operation resulted in the destruction of nine terrorist hideouts and inflicted damage on eight Pakistani military installations.

He stated that "Operation Sindoor" has now drawn a clear "Lakshman Rekha" for Pakistan. Modi emphasized that Pakistan failed in its attempts to harm India’s military establishments, and any further acts of terrorism would be met with uncompromising retaliation.

Wearing a Western Air Command cap adorned with the Trishul emblem, Modi stood in front of the very missile system Pakistan claimed to have taken out. He hailed the Indian forces for defeating what he called “nuclear blackmail,” and remarked that the chant of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" resonates from the skies to the earth whenever India’s soldiers rise to defend the nation.

He added that this chant is more than a slogan—it is a vow taken by every Indian soldier ready to lay down their life for the dignity of Mother India. Modi praised the success of Indian drones and missiles in breaching enemy strongholds, reiterating that the might and discipline of the Indian military sends a clear message to the world.

The Prime Minister saluted the personnel of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, affirming that their heroism during this operation will be etched in history. He underscored that those harboring terrorism now fully understand the consequences of casting an evil eye on India.

Adampur, home to both Rafale and MiG-29 squadrons, is India’s second-largest Air Force base and has played a critical role in past conflicts, including the 1971 war with Pakistan. Modi’s presence there underscored the operational readiness and resilience of India's defense forces amid evolving regional threats.
