Gujarat CM Praises Missile Strikes on Pakistan, Declares 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'

Ahmedabad, May 7, 2025 — Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Wednesday lauded the Indian Armed Forces for conducting missile strikes on nine terrorist camps located in Pakistan, describing it as a firm response against terrorism. In a post on social media platform 'X', Patel proudly exclaimed, "Operation Sindoor is India's answer to terrorism. Bharat Mata Ki Jai!"

The missile strikes were executed as part of “Operation Sindoor,” following the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22 that claimed 26 lives, including several tourists.

Joining the chorus of appreciation, Gujarat BJP President C R Patil posted, “The voice of 1.4 billion Indians! Operation Sindoor, Jai Hind.” Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi also praised the armed forces with the message, “Jai Hind! Jai Hind Ki Sena,” and shared a Sanskrit shloka: “Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah” — meaning "those who protect righteousness are protected by it."

Gujarat Congress also echoed national solidarity by reposting messages from party leaders Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Jairam Ramesh who supported the military operation.

Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party's Gujarat unit reposted the party’s national statement and added, “Jai Hind. The Indian army has responded to terrorists in their own language. The entire nation stands united with our armed forces and has full faith in their courage and determination to defeat terrorism.”

These reactions reflect widespread political unity in Gujarat and across India in support of the country's military action against cross-border terrorism.
