Kia India's Domestic Sales Rise 18 Percent in April, Reaches 23,623 Units
New Delhi, May 1 — Kia India reported an 18 percent year-on-year increase in its domestic sales for April 2025, with total dispatches reaching 23,623 units. As per agency report, the automaker had sold 19,968 units in April 2024.
In a company statement, Kia India said the compact SUV Sonet led the sales charts with 8,068 units sold, followed by the mid-sized SUV Seltos with 6,135 units. The Carens registered 5,259 units in sales, while the newly launched Cyros recorded an impressive 4,000 units. The premium MPV Carnival Limousine contributed 161 units to the overall figures.
Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing at Kia India, stated that the company is focused on delivering progressive, customer-centric mobility solutions aligned with evolving consumer aspirations.
The automaker also announced that it is gearing up to unveil its new offering, the Kia Clavis, on May 8. According to the company, this innovative product aims to set new benchmarks in the segment and is designed to cater to the diverse needs of Indian consumers.
