Girls Outperform Boys in CISCE Class 10 and 12 Results with Narrow Margin
New Delhi, April 30 — The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the results for Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) board examinations on Wednesday, with girls marginally outperforming boys in both categories.
As per agency report, the pass percentage for girls in both Class 10 and Class 12 stood at 99.45 percent, while boys registered a slightly lower success rate of 98.64 percent. The consistent lead by girls continues the trend observed in previous years.
This year, the ICSE examination for Class 10 was conducted across 67 written subjects, which included 20 Indian languages, 14 foreign languages, and one classical language. The ISC examination for Class 12 covered 47 written subjects, including 12 Indian languages, four foreign languages, and two classical languages.
Joseph Emmanuel, the Chief Executive of CISCE, stated that candidates and affiliated institutions can access the results through the official CISCE website or the board's career portal. Additionally, the results have been made available on the DigiLocker platform for ease of access.
CISCE also announced that improvement examinations for both ICSE and ISC students will be held in July for those seeking to enhance their performance.
