Two accidents occurred on Friday in different areas of Gujarat resulting in two deaths and leaving more than 20 injured. In the first incident, a car fell into a well near Facharia village in Junagadh district's Kodinar area, killing both occupants. The victims were identified as residents of Vadnagar. The incident occurred at around 10 pm on Thursday, and the victims were recovered on Friday morning.
In the second incident, a private bus overturned on the Limbdi-Ahmedabad highway after the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing injuries to more than 20 passengers. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The accident resulted in traffic congestion on the highway.
The state has witnessed a surge in accidents in recent times, with another collision between a jeep and a truck in Patan's Badi Pipli just two days ago. The police team reached the scene of the accidents and took necessary action. The injured are receiving medical care, and the police have initiated investigations into the incidents.
