Sunny Deol Promises 'Jaat 2' Will Be Even Better, Shares Gratitude for Audience Support

New Delhi, April 21 – Actor Sunny Deol has expressed heartfelt thanks to audiences for the overwhelming love his latest film Jaat has received, while confidently stating that its sequel, Jaat 2, will surpass the original in quality and impact.
The film, which released in theatres on April 10, has grossed over ₹89 crore at the global box office, marking a strong performance. Following its success, the producers recently announced plans for a sequel.
As per agency report, Deol took to Instagram to share a video of himself walking through a serene valley. In the video, he thanked fans for the love shown to Jaat and assured them that Jaat 2 would be even better. He also revealed that he will soon resume shooting for his upcoming war drama Border 2.
Accompanying the video, Deol wrote in the caption that he felt blessed by the audience's enthusiasm and their continued sharing of reactions to Jaat. He credited the film's success entirely to the fans’ support.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Jaat features Sunny Deol alongside Randeep Hooda, Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and Vineet Kumar Singh. The film is jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory.
Sunny Deol's next major project, Border 2, is the sequel to his iconic 1997 film Border. The film also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Ahaan Shetty, and is slated for release on January 23, 2026.
