Two Killed, Seven Injured in Collision Between Private Bus and Truck in Vadodara, Gujarat

Vadodara, April 21 – Two people were killed and seven others injured early Monday morning in a collision between a private bus and a truck on the outskirts of Vadodara, Gujarat. The accident occurred around 3:30 am on the national highway near the city, according to police officials.
As per agency report, the private bus had departed from Surat around 11 pm and was en route to Ahmedabad when it was struck from behind by a truck. The impact caused significant damage, leading to multiple casualties.
Dr. Hitendra Chauhan, Resident Medical Officer at SSG Hospital, confirmed that nine individuals were brought in for emergency treatment. Two of them were declared dead on arrival. Five of the injured were discharged after receiving medical attention, while two others sustained serious injuries. One critically injured patient was referred to a hospital in Ahmedabad for further treatment.
The deceased were identified as Chandu Bhai Kumbhani, 58, from Ahmedabad, and Parth Bawaliya, 25, from Amreli. Local authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
