Infosys to Acquire Australian Cybersecurity Firm 'The Missing Link' for AUD 98 Million

New Delhi, April 17: Indian IT services giant Infosys has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Australian cybersecurity services provider, The Missing Link, for a total consideration of up to 98 million Australian dollars (approximately ₹532 crore) in an all-cash deal.

According to the company’s stock exchange filing, the acquisition will be executed through Infosys Singapore Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Infosys. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of the current financial year (2025-26), between April and June.

As per agency report, the total cost of the acquisition includes an upfront payment along with an earn-out component that will be based on the future performance of the acquired company. The deal excludes any management incentives and retention bonuses.

Infosys stated that the acquisition will enhance its cybersecurity capabilities and further strengthen its presence in the fast-growing Australian market.
