Mumbai, April 2 – The much-anticipated new season of the popular television quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati has entered its early stages of production, with superstar Amitabh Bachchan confirming that preparations have begun in full earnest. Writing on his blog, the veteran actor revealed that the first step will be the release of a promo inviting viewers to register for the upcoming season.

As per agency report, Bachchan emphasized the significance of dedication and work in shaping one’s destiny, stating that serious efforts are already underway for the next edition of the show. Alongside his announcement, he shared three images on a micro-blogging platform, including one in which he is seen lying on a sofa. Reflecting on his own habits, he shared how deeply engrossed he becomes while watching films or series, questioning whether others experience the same level of immersion.

The actor mused that such deep involvement with a film or television series often leads viewers to momentarily embody the characters they see on screen, adopting their behaviors and perspectives, however briefly.

In his message, Bachchan also extended warm greetings to his fans and followers, whom he affectionately calls his "extended family", on the occasion of multiple festivals including Chaitra Sukhladi, Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid-ul-Fitr. He wished that these celebrations bring joy and happiness to all, and noted the sighting of the moon in parts of Saudi Arabia, marking the onset of Eid. He described the confluence of these festivals as a beautiful expression of unity and shared emotion that resonates across humanity.

In addition to his work on the show, Bachchan recently partnered with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to promote road safety. As part of a nationwide awareness campaign launched on March 24, he is urging citizens to adopt safer and more responsible driving practices. This collaboration aims to bolster the ongoing efforts of the ministry in spreading awareness about road safety measures, with the megastar lending his voice and influence to encourage greater caution on the roads.
