Mumbai, March 28 : Actor Hrithik Roshan is set to make his directorial debut with the much-anticipated film "Krrish 4," as announced by the filmmakers on Friday. The film will be produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF) in collaboration with Rakesh Roshan's Filmkraft Productions and is scheduled to begin shooting early next year.
Hrithik, who has portrayed the lead role in the previous installments of the popular superhero franchise—Krrish, Krrish 2, and Krrish 3—will now take on the additional responsibility of directing the fourth installment.
Veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, who directed the earlier films in the franchise, shared that he is handing over the directorial reins to his son Hrithik. He expressed immense pride in Hrithik’s vision for the future of the Krrish saga and described it as a bold and ambitious plan to carry the franchise forward for decades to come.
Rakesh Roshan added that there's no greater joy than seeing his son begin his directorial journey with a film that holds deep emotional significance for their family.
