Jai Patel Scores 79% in Class 12 Science Exam Despite Health Challenges and Lack of Tuition
Surat - Jai Patel, a dedicated student from Jhankhari village in Surat's Olpad taluka, has achieved an impressive 79% score in the Class 12 Science exam results released on Tuesday. Jai's achievement is particularly noteworthy given his recurring health issues and the fact that he had to travel 62 kilometers daily to attend school. The aspiring computer engineer's hard work and determination have paid off.
Jai, the son of a farmer from Jhankhari village, managed to secure 79% marks in the Gujket 2023 Class 12 Science exam despite suffering from poor health that required hospitalization 1-2 times a year. He was determined to pursue his studies and provide a better life for his parents by becoming a computer engineer in the future.
In addition to his health challenges, Jai traveled 62 kilometers daily to attend Sardar Patel's school in Pal area, Surat city. He never let the difficult journey or weather conditions deter him from attending school and pursuing his education.
Jai's achievements are even more remarkable considering he did not attend tuition classes, unlike many of his peers. His maternal uncle, Pritesh Patel, described Jai as a polite and ideal student and son. He commended Jai for his dedication to his studies despite his family's middle-class background and the tragic loss of his mother, Meenakshi Ben, at the time of his birth.
Jai's foster mother, Hetalben Patel, has taken on the role of his primary caregiver, treating him like her own son. His father, Satishbhai, is a farmer, and the family relies solely on his income to make ends meet. Jai's academic success serves as a testament to his resilience and determination, proving that with hard work and dedication, one can overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
