Darshan Timings Revised at Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan

Mathura, March 16 – The darshan schedule for devotees at the revered Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan has been changed following the festival of Holika Dahan. As per agency report, in accordance with the temple's regulations, the summer timetable came into effect from the second day of Krishna Paksha in the month of Chaitra.

Temple manager Munish Sharma confirmed that from Sunday onwards, the temple's darshan timings, three daily aartis, and the resting schedule of Thakurji have been altered. As per the revised schedule effective from March 16, morning darshan will begin at 7:45 AM, followed by the Shringar Aarti at 7:55 AM. The Rajbhog offering to Thakurji will take place from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by the Rajbhog Aarti at 11:55 AM. After this, the deity will be given a perfumed massage by the temple sevayats for approximately an hour before being put to rest.

For the evening session, darshan will commence at 5:30 PM, while the Shayan Bhog will be offered at 8:30 PM. The Shayan Aarti will take place at 9:25 PM. Following this, sevayats will again perform a perfumed massage for the deity before concluding the day’s rituals.

This revised summer schedule will remain in effect until Bhai Dooj, following the Diwali celebrations. Devotees visiting the temple are advised to follow the new timings to plan their visits accordingly.
