He pointed out the challenges faced by traders who rely on Mumbai or Ahmedabad for exports of diamonds, seafood, and perishable goods due to the lack of adequate logistics infrastructure in Surat.

He emphasized that these developments would enhance the global competitiveness of industries in South Gujarat.

The meeting included extensive discussions among attending officials, including Vice President Nikhil Madrasi, Honorary Secretary Neerav Mandalewala, Honorary Treasurer Mrunal Shukla, Group Chairman Mitish Modi, and other key representatives.

As per agency report, AAI Chairman Vipin Kumar attentively reviewed the presentation given by SGCCI and assured that all concerns related to the airport’s infrastructure and operations would be addressed promptly.
