Aadhatiya Kapada Association Surat Hosts Grand Holi Celebration

Surat, March 13 – The Aadhatiya Kapada Association Surat celebrated its annual Holi Sneh Milan with great enthusiasm, continuing its tradition of bringing the textile community together for the festival of colors. Holi, which holds deep cultural and social significance across India, was marked with grandeur in Surat, a city known for its strong textile industry. The festival emphasized unity, harmony, and the strengthening of relationships within the community.  

The event witnessed the participation of around 1,000 attendees, including social, political, and administrative figures. The highlight of the celebration was the Phoolon Ki Holi, where traders and community members played Holi with flowers, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere. The gathering was further special as it coincided with the birthday of Aadhatiya Association President Prahladbhai, who received heartfelt wishes from all present.  

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including BJP City General Secretary Kishor Bindal, IRS Officer Ghanshyam Soni, Vikram Singh Shekhawat from the Rajput community, Sunil Jain and Sachin Agarwal from South Gujarat Textile Traders, Anil Agarwal from Vipul Sarees, Subhashbhai from Subhash Sarees, transport association officials, Adarsh Ramlila Trust members, Agarwal Vidya Vihar President Subhash Bansal, Rajput Society President Pradyumn Jadeja, and Pankaj Goyal from Agra Mandal. Members of the Aadhatiya Kapada Association and representatives from various social organizations also participated, making the celebration a grand success.  

During the Falguni Utsav, attendees enjoyed a special alpaahar or light refreshments arranged for the occasion, adding to the festive spirit. The event not only strengthened community bonds but also reinforced the cultural significance of Holi within Surat’s thriving textile sector.
