New Delhi, March 13 – Filmmaker Kabir Khan expressed his gratitude for the enduring love that audiences continue to shower upon his 2015 blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan. As the film approaches its tenth anniversary this July, he acknowledged how its emotional appeal remains strong even after a decade.
Starring Salman Khan in the lead role, Bajrangi Bhaijaan tells the story of Pawan, a devout follower of Lord Hanuman, who embarks on a heartwarming journey to reunite a mute Pakistani girl, Munni, with her family across the border. The role of Munni was portrayed by child actress Harshaali Malhotra, and the film captured audiences' hearts with its poignant narrative of love, humanity, and cross-border unity.
Speaking at the I View World Film Festival, Kabir Khan reflected on the film’s lasting impact. He noted that, as the years pass, the admiration for Bajrangi Bhaijaan has only grown.
