New Delhi, March 11 – Digital payment platform PhonePe has surpassed 600 million registered users, marking a significant milestone in its growth journey. The company announced this achievement on Tuesday, highlighting its continued expansion in India's digital payments ecosystem.
As per agency report, PhonePe’s co-founder and CEO, Sameer Nigam, expressed pride in reaching this landmark, stating that the accomplishment reflects the platform’s commitment to serving user needs and driving India's digital transformation. He reiterated that the company remains focused on developing indigenous solutions to enhance user experience and financial inclusion.
The company had approximately 530 million registered users as of March 2024, showing a significant increase within a year. PhonePe also claims to process over 3.3 billion transactions daily, with an annual total payment value exceeding ₹150 lakh crore. This growth reinforces its position as one of India's leading financial technology platforms.
