Mahadev Eleven Wins Gujarat Brahmin Society Cricket Tournament at D.R. Ground, Uttran
Surat, March 11 – The Gujarat Brahmin Society organized a grand cricket tournament on Sunday at D.R. Ground, Uttran, where 12 teams from across the state participated. In a thrilling final match, Mahadev Eleven emerged victorious, marking the culmination of an event aimed at fostering unity and harmony within the community. The tournament was led by Girishbhai Trivedi, the General Secretary of Gujarat Brahmin Society.
As per report, the event welcomed Vikram Singh Shekhawat, President of Rajasthan Yuva Sangh and Laghu Udyog Bharati (Surat), as the chief guest. To honor his contribution, the Gujarat Brahmin Society presented him with a ceremonial spear (Farsha). Acknowledging the gesture, Shekhawat expressed that receiving such an honor from a distinguished Brahmin platform was a moment of pride for his entire community. He emphasized the deep cultural bond between the Gujarati and Marwari communities, calling it a model of social harmony.
During the event, Rajasthan Yuva Sangh Vice President Ram Avatar Pareek and Joint Secretary Dheeraj Singh Rajpurohit extended an invitation to the Brahmin community and other attendees for the upcoming Rajasthan Foundation Day celebration on March 30. The gathering highlighted the importance of social unity and cultural preservation, making it a significant step toward strengthening communal bonds.
