Water Line Leak Causes Flooded Streets in Kotharia Area of Rajkot

Rajkot, India – A water line leak on Kotharia Road in Rajkot has led to flooded streets and the wastage of thousands of liters of water. The incident has raised concerns about water scarcity for urban residents, as the administration continually urges people to conserve water.

The water leakage in Rajkot is not the result of small potholes being filled, but rather of pipeline leaks that have created flood-like conditions in some societies and low-lying areas. The water pipeline break on Harighwa Road resulted in water inundating the surrounding area, with thousands of liters of water flowing onto the road. Upon receiving information about the incident, the Municipal Corporation initiated repair work.

The pipeline burst created a monsoon-like scene in the Kotharia area, with water flowing on the road as if a river was running through it. Local residents informed the authorities about the situation, and the Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) immediately began repairing the pipeline. The cause of the incident is still under investigation, and it is being determined whether anyone intentionally damaged public property.
