Elderly Man Dies in Massive Fire at Firozabad Home, Fireworks Suspected as Cause
Firozabad, March 10 – A devastating fire engulfed a three-story house in the North police station area of Firozabad, resulting in the death of a 75-year-old man. Officials reported that the blaze broke out late Sunday night around 11 PM in the residence of Vinod Kumar Agarwal, quickly spreading throughout the building.
As per agency report, firefighters rushed to the scene and managed to control the fire. However, Agarwal, who was trapped on the top floor, suffered severe burns. He was immediately transported to the district hospital's trauma center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities confirmed that ten other family members were safely evacuated from the house. Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire may have been caused by fireworks set off in celebration of India's Champions Trophy victory on Sunday night. Officials have launched an inquiry into the exact cause of the incident.
