Ayushmann Khurrana Ventures into Haryanvi Music with ‘The Heartbreak Chhora’
Mumbai, March 8 – Bollywood’s multi-talented star Ayushmann Khurrana has made a striking entry into the Haryanvi music scene with his latest track, The Heartbreak Chhora, released in collaboration with Warner Music India. This song marks a significant milestone as it is the first time a Punjabi singer has ventured into Haryanvi music, adding a fresh twist with Ayushmann’s signature style.
Unlike the typical rough-and-tough swag associated with Haryanvi songs, The Heartbreak Chhora presents the emotions of heartbreak with groovy beats, offering a unique blend of pain and rhythm. The song is part of an EP featuring three tracks—The Heartbreak Chhora, Ho Gaya Pyaar Re, and Drive to Murthal.
As per agency reports, what sets this release apart is its AI-generated music video, a first in the Bollywood music industry. The visuals are crafted using advanced artificial intelligence, setting a new trend in the music world. This makes Ayushmann Khurrana the first Bollywood singer to have a fully AI-created music video, merging technology with music in an innovative way.
Expressing his excitement, Ayushmann shared that he has always been a fan of Haryanvi music and wanted to bring something fresh to the genre. He aimed to create a unique style he calls "Urban Haryanvi," making it appealing even to those unfamiliar with traditional Haryanvi music. The EP presents the pain of a breakup in a fun and engaging manner, making it relatable to a wide audience. He also noted that blending technology with music through an AI music video was a long-held dream finally realized.
The lyrics of The Heartbreak Chhora have been penned by Kunwar Juneja and Krishna Bhardwaj, with composition by Jaya Rohilla and Gaurav Dasgupta. Vaibhav Dewan, a Haryanvi language expert, contributed as a consultant to ensure authenticity. The song is now available for streaming on all major music platforms, bringing a new wave of innovation to the Haryanvi music industry.
