Three Killed, Two Injured in Bhind Car Accident on National Highway-719

Bhind (Madhya Pradesh), February 20: In a tragic accident on National Highway-719 in Bhind district, Madhya Pradesh, three people died and two others sustained serious injuries when a car collided with a stationary lorry early Thursday morning, police said.

The accident occurred around 5 a.m., as the victims were traveling to attend a wedding ceremony of one of the passengers' brothers.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Asit Yadav informed PTI-Bhasha that the car crashed into the rear end of a parked lorry by the roadside. The impact left the vehicle completely mangled, illustrating the severity of the collision.

The deceased were identified as Umesh Rathore, Mangal Rathore (28), and Akash Rathore (25). Two others, Dheeraj Rathore (22) and Mahendra Rathore (20), suffered critical injuries and were rushed to Gwalior for advanced medical treatment.

The victims were on their way to celebrate the wedding of Akash's brother when the accident occurred.

Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. The cause of the crash, including whether poor visibility or driver fatigue played a role, is yet to be determined.
