According to police officials, the accused, Ram Swaroop Kushwaha, was taken into custody for burglarizing the house of a retired army officer in Bharuch. Along with an accomplice, he allegedly broke into the house four days ago and stole gold and silver valuables worth ₹2.74 lakh.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) C.K.
