Speeding Car Crashes in Vadodara, Passersby Miraculously Escape; Crowd Thrashes Occupants
Vadodara, February 12 – A high-speed black car crashed near a water tank in Panigate, Vadodara, late last night. While the vehicle was severely damaged, pedestrians in the area miraculously escaped unhurt. However, the angry crowd, in the presence of the police, took matters into their own hands and thrashed the two young occupants of the car to "teach them a lesson" about road safety and responsible driving.
According to reports, Vadodara traffic police frequently conduct awareness campaigns to educate citizens about road safety, yet accidents continue to occur due to reckless driving. In this particular incident, a speeding black car lost control near Panigate, resulting in a loud explosion-like sound as its bonnet burst open. Hearing the noise, locals rushed to the scene, only to find that the car was being driven by two young men from affluent backgrounds.
Police promptly arrived at the site, but before they could take control, the enraged crowd began thrashing the car occupants in an attempt to discipline them for their reckless behavior. The situation escalated, forcing the police to intervene and rescue the duo from the furious mob.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and have reminded citizens to adhere to traffic regulations to prevent such mishaps. Meanwhile, the youths have been taken into custody for further questioning regarding the incident.
