Wankaner, February 12 – A tragic accident occurred near Jamsar Crossroad in Wankaner on Monday when a dumper collided with a bike, severely injuring all family members riding on the two-wheeler. The incident took a devastating turn when a six-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries during treatment on Tuesday, while his mother and sister remain in critical condition.
According to reports, Kunwarjibhai Ratoja was traveling with his family when a dumper hit their bike near Jamsar Crossroad, leaving him, his wife, daughter, and son seriously injured. Following the accident, an outraged crowd blocked the road, leading to a major traffic jam in the area.
Emergency responders rushed the injured to the hospital for treatment. Despite efforts, Kunwarji’s six-year-old son succumbed to his injuries the following day. His eight-year-old daughter, Asuben, remains in critical condition and has been shifted to Ahmedabad Civil Hospital for advanced medical care. Meanwhile, his wife, Janaben, is receiving treatment at a hospital in Rajkot.
Authorities are investigating the accident, while locals demand stricter traffic regulations to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
