Speeding Car Hits Five Pedestrians in Noida Mall, Police Investigate Drunk Driving Angle

Noida, February 7 – A speeding car allegedly hit five pedestrians, including three students, near the Garden Galleria Mall in Noida, leaving them seriously injured. The incident occurred late Thursday night in Sector-39 police jurisdiction, prompting an immediate police investigation.

According to Station House Officer (SHO) Jitendra Kumar, the victims sustained severe injuries and were rushed to Kailash Hospital in Sector-27 for treatment. The injured individuals have been identified as Amalan Bhowmik (25) from JP Wish Town in Sector-134, Priya (22) from Sector-126, and Ansh Bharadwaj (25) from Krishna Nagar, Delhi – all three students. Additionally, Abhishek (35) from Noida’s Sector-19 and Vinay Kumar (36) from Greater Noida West were also among the injured.

Preliminary investigations and CCTV footage analysis suggest that the car driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. Police are currently working to identify and locate the suspect.
