Bengaluru, February 5 – A video of former Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid engaged in an argument with an auto-rickshaw driver has surfaced online, rapidly gaining traction on social media.
The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday evening on Cunningham Road, Bengaluru. Dravid, known for his composed demeanor, was seen speaking in Kannada, questioning the auto driver about why he failed to apply the brakes.
According to High Grounds Traffic Police, which has jurisdiction over Cunningham Road, Dravid has not filed any official complaint regarding the incident.
The video, captured by a passerby around 6:30 PM, shows Dravid gesturing towards a scratch or dent on his vehicle, appearing visibly frustrated over the damage. He was reportedly traveling from Indian Express Circle towards Millers Road when the confrontation occurred.
Though details of the altercation remain unclear, the clip has sparked discussions online, with many social media users commenting on the usually calm and collected cricketer's rare moment of public confrontation.
Authorities have confirmed that no legal action or complaint has been registered regarding the incident.
