Bharuch LCB Cracks Down on Seekliger Gang, Solving 6 Theft Cases
District Superintendent of Police's Strategy Leads to Key Arrest in Ankleshwar
Bharuch, India - Local Crime Branch (LCB) personnel in Bharuch district have successfully solved six theft cases, thanks to a proactive strategy implemented by District Superintendent of Police Dr. Leena Patil. The operation focused on preventing burglaries and detecting theft crimes targeting locked houses in the area.
During a patrol, the LCB received information that a suspect involved in a theft at Jhaghadiya police station was seen in CCTV footage passing near Pratin Chauraha in Ankleshwar. Acting on this tip, the LCB set up a post in the Pratin area, where they identified and stopped an individual named Isam.
Upon interrogation, Isam revealed his true identity as Tejendra Singh alias Rohit Ragbir Singh Sardar, a resident of Yogeshwar Park, Bajwa, Baroda. He confessed to participating in a series of thefts with his maternal uncle Satwansingh Gurdassingh Sardar and his friend Jashbirsingh Jogindersingh across various areas in Bharuch district.
Police seized valuables worth Rs 5,000 from the arrested individual and have taken further action to bring the entire Seekliger gang to justice.
