Five-Year-Old Aryan Loses Battle for Life After Falling into 150-Foot Borewell in Rajasthan
Jaipur, December 12 – A five-year-old boy named Aryan tragically lost his life after falling into a 150-foot-deep borewell in Dausa district, Rajasthan. Despite a relentless 55-hour-long rescue operation, Aryan could not be saved.
Late Wednesday night, rescuers managed to pull Aryan out of the borewell in an unconscious state. He was immediately transported to the district hospital in an advanced life-support ambulance. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
Police Statement “The child was rushed to the hospital with all possible medical support, but he had already succumbed. Doctors confirmed his death,” said a police official.
The Incident The incident occurred on Monday afternoon in the Paparda police station area of Dausa district. Aryan accidentally fell into an open borewell while playing in a field, sparking an extensive rescue effort involving local authorities, police, and rescue teams.
This tragedy highlights the critical need for safety measures to prevent accidents involving open borewells, which continue to pose significant dangers across rural India.
