Torrent Group's UNM Foundation Concludes Sixth Edition of Annual Art Festival in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, December 11 – The sixth edition of the annual art festival organized by the UNM Foundation, part of the Torrent Group, concluded successfully, showcasing creative talent across various artistic disciplines.

According to a statement by the Torrent Group, the initiative, titled "Abhivyakti – City Arts Project," commenced on November 21 and concluded on December 8. Over 324,000 art enthusiasts from diverse age groups and fields attended the festival, making it a grand celebration of creativity and cultural heritage.

The fifth edition of the festival, held over a fortnight, attracted more than 175,000 visitors.

Milestones Since Inception

Launched in 2018, the unique art initiative has received over 5,936 applications across its six editions. To date, more than 1,335 artists have showcased their talent to an audience of over 600,000 art lovers.

UNM Foundation Director Sapna Mehta expressed her delight, stating, "This festival has truly become a celebration of our rich cultural heritage. It has evolved into a platform for artists to present their innovative ideas and creativity. We are committed to continuing this tradition and aim to make it even bigger and better in the years to come."

Highlights of the Sixth Edition

This year's festival featured performances by 96 artists spanning diverse art forms, including dance, music, theater, and visual art installations.

Looking Ahead

The seventh edition of the art festival is scheduled to begin on November 21 next year, promising another enriching experience for art enthusiasts and creators alike.
