Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Rushes Accident Victim to Hospital Amid Convoy Mishap
Jaipur, December 11 – Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma demonstrated quick action and compassion when his convoy was involved in an accident on Wednesday in the Jagatpura area of Jaipur. The incident left five police personnel and two tourists injured.
According to police, a speeding taxi coming from the wrong direction collided with a security vehicle in the Chief Minister’s convoy, leading to the mishap. Another vehicle also struck the security car while attempting to avoid the accident.
Ramnagariya Station Officer Arun Kumar said, "The Chief Minister’s convoy was moving normally on Jagatpura Road when a taxi from the wrong direction hit one of the security vehicles. Another taxi collided with the divider while trying to avoid the crash."
In a swift response, CM Sharma stopped his car and personally ensured that one of the critically injured victims was taken to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in his vehicle. "The Chief Minister decided not to wait for an ambulance and took the seriously injured person in his car to the hospital," Kumar added. Another injured individual with minor injuries was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Five police officers and two tourists sustained injuries in the accident. The Chief Minister later visited the hospital to check on the injured and ensured they received proper care.
The mishap occurred near the NRI Circle close to the Akshaya Patra Temple as CM Sharma was en route to a scheduled event. Despite the incident, the convoy had not disrupted traffic on the road.
The CM’s prompt action was praised for prioritizing the safety and well-being of those injured in the accident. The police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the accident.
