Amit Shah Praises Spiritual Leader Pramukh Swami Maharaj at Volunteer Conference in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday commended the late Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the former head of the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), for inspiring millions and instilling courage to overcome challenges and work for societal benefit.
Speaking at a large gathering of BAPS volunteers at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Shah highlighted the spiritual leader's profound impact.
"Pramukh Swami Maharaj awakened faith in millions, gave them the courage to face difficulties, and inspired them to work for the betterment of society," Shah said, addressing thousands of attendees at the volunteer conference.
He lauded Pramukh Swami Maharaj's extensive contributions, including the establishment of over 1,200 temples worldwide, which continue to serve as centers of knowledge and inspiration.
"His greatest legacy is the emphasis he placed on cultural values," Shah added.
Highlighting the challenge of uniting a vast number of volunteers under a common mission, Shah remarked, "Motivating millions of volunteers toward a shared goal is no easy feat. He led not through words but through his actions, inspiring countless individuals to follow his path."
