Surat: A young man fell into the sea while traveling on a Ro-Ro ferry operating along the Hazira-Ghogha route. The crew promptly rescued him and handed him over to the police upon reaching Hazira.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 8 a.m. when the ferry was en route from Ghogha to Hazira. The 25-year-old passenger fell into the sea approximately 11 nautical miles from the shore.
Upon receiving the alert, the ferry crew immediately utilized lifesaving equipment to rescue the man and brought him back on board safely.
Initial investigations suggest that the man fell due to a sudden bout of dizziness. However, the police are questioning him to ascertain the exact cause of the incident.
