Salman Khan Adds Bulletproof SUV to His Car Collection Amid Heightened Security Threats

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has added a new luxury bulletproof car to his collection, following increased threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. With security concerns rising after the assassination of NCP leader and Salman’s close friend Baba Siddique on October 12, Khan's security measures have been significantly ramped up. The Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for Siddique's murder, prompting further caution for Salman Khan's safety.

According to reports, Salman Khan has purchased a new bulletproof Nissan SUV, which is one of the top models from the company. This vehicle is designed with enhanced safety features, including bomb alerts and bulletproof windows. The car's dark color is chosen for privacy, and the vehicle is priced around Rs 2 crore. As the model is not available in India, Salman is importing the car from Dubai. Salman already owns another Nissan bulletproof car, which is customized with a number associated with his birthday.

In addition to his upgraded vehicle, Salman Khan’s security has been intensified. Reports indicate that 60 security personnel are currently assigned to safeguard him. Moreover, anyone attending events with the actor is required to show an Aadhaar card for entry, and strict measures are being implemented on the set of 'Bigg Boss 18', with staff restricted from leaving their seats during filming.

The increased threats date back to 1998, following the blackbuck poaching case in Jodhpur, which has left Salman Khan facing ongoing threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In recent months, the situation has escalated, with incidents like a shooting outside his residence further intensifying the security around the Bollywood star.
