Salman Khan's Family Concerned About His Safety Following Baba Siddique's Assassination

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his family have been on high alert regarding his safety in recent days. On October 12, NCP leader and Salman Khan's close friend, Baba Siddique, was shot dead in Bandra East. Several suspects have since been arrested, and investigations are ongoing. Siddique’s tragic death has left Salman Khan’s family deeply concerned, especially given that the actor has also received death threats.

In a recent interview, Salman’s brother, Arbaaz Khan, spoke about the family’s anxiety regarding his security. Arbaaz stated, "We are all fine, but I won’t say everything is going smoothly. A lot is happening, and naturally, everyone is concerned and worried about Salman."

Discussing the family’s approach to enhancing Salman’s security, Arbaaz mentioned, "Right now, as a family, we are thinking about what is best for Salman. We are figuring out how to ensure his safety with the guidance of the government and the police. Everyone is doing their best to protect him."

Increased Security for Salman Khan

Following Baba Siddique’s murder, Salman Khan’s security has been significantly increased. Police forces have been deployed outside his Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai as well as his Panvel farmhouse. Authorities have advised Salman to avoid stepping out in public for the time being.

After Siddique’s assassination, Salman immediately halted the shooting of ‘Bigg Boss’ and rushed to Lilavati Hospital. It is now speculated that Salman may not appear on the show in the upcoming episodes. Filmmakers Karan Johar or Farah Khan are expected to take over hosting duties on the upcoming 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episodes.
