Shah Rukh Khan Steals the Show at IIFA Awards 2024, Wins Best Actor for 'Jawan'

Abu Dhabi : Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan not only hosted the prestigious IIFA Awards 2024 but also bagged the Best Actor award for his blockbuster film *Jawan*. The event saw a heartwarming speech by Khan that has since gone viral, where he thanked his wife, Gauri Khan, and reflected on the challenges he faced during tough times.

Khan’s fans were elated when he took the stage to accept the award. In his speech, he expressed gratitude to his fellow nominees, including Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Vikrant Massey, Sunny Deol, and Vicky Kaushal, acknowledging their excellent work. He said, "Thank you very much. I want to thank all the nominees—Ranbir, Ranveer, Vikrant, Sunny, Vicky—all of them did great work. But I returned after a long time and received immense love from the audience. Someone reminded me that investing in a film is crucial. So, I want to thank Gauri, who is perhaps the only wife who spends so much on her husband."

During his speech, Shah Rukh also hinted at the difficult times he faced while making *Jawan*, which fans on social media have linked to his son Aryan Khan’s legal troubles in 2021. Aryan was arrested in a drug case by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and spent time in jail during a challenging period for the Khan family.
