Seven Killed in Tragic Road Accident Near Himmatnagar, Gujarat
A high-speed car crash leaves seven dead and one critically injured as the vehicle collides with a trailer.
Ahmedabad, September 25 – In a tragic road accident near Himmatnagar in Gujarat's Sabarkantha district, seven people lost their lives on Wednesday morning. Another person sustained severe injuries in the crash. All eight individuals were traveling in a car when it collided with a trailer, resulting in the car being severely damaged. The impact was so intense that authorities had to use cutters to retrieve the bodies from the wreckage. According to Himmatnagar police, all the victims were residents of Ahmedabad.
Deputy Superintendent of Police A.K. Patel stated that the accident occurred near the Sahakari Gin area of Himmatnagar when the speeding car crashed into a trailer. The car, traveling from Shamlaji towards Ahmedabad, collided with the trailer from behind, leading to a chaotic scene on the highway.
The victims were identified as Dhanvani Chirag Ravibhai, Rohit, Sagar Udani, Govind, Rahul, Rohit, and Berth, all residents of Kubernagar, Ahmedabad. A 22-year-old survivor, Hanibhai Totwani, was critically injured and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem, and an investigation into the accident is underway.
