Surat Set to Become Major Growth Hub Under Central Government's Ambitious Plan

Surat — In a significant move to transform Surat into a major development center of India, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will inaugurate a comprehensive economic development plan for Surat and its surrounding districts on September 19. This initiative aligns with the central government's ambitious agenda to promote sustainable growth in key cities across the country.

A preparatory meeting for the launch was held at the District Collector's office, chaired by District Collector Dr. Saurabh Pardhi and Municipal Commissioner Shalini Agarwal. The meeting focused on organizing the upcoming event and outlining the objectives of the development plan.

The "Growth Hub" plan is a pivotal step toward developing Surat as a sustainable city for the next 50 years. It encompasses various critical aspects such as economic development, social welfare, industrial growth, education, and improved road connectivity.
