Surat: Nationwide Pursuit for Diamond Merchants Cheaters

Surat, India - State Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi assured diamond merchants during a surprise visit to Surat's Mahidharpura Hirabazar that anyone who cheats traders will be apprehended, regardless of their location in the country. During his visit, Sanghvi met with local traders and brokers to discuss their concerns and inspect the diamonds.

In an effort to address the issues raised by the diamond merchants, Sanghvi pledged to upgrade the police station in Hira Bazar and increase its staff. He emphasized that both minor and major complaints of traders will be addressed, ensuring the security of Surat's diamond industry, which has connections both within India and abroad.

Sanghvi acknowledged the trust-based nature of Surat's diamond trade, where even strangers conduct business with goods worth lakhs of rupees. He vowed to personally oversee the planning and implementation of measures to apprehend those who betray the trust of Surat's traders. This includes providing additional staff to tackle cases of cheating and taking strict action against those found guilty.
