Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, and Prasidh Krishna to Miss First Round of Duleep Trophy

New Delhi – Wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan, batsman Suryakumar Yadav, and fast bowler Prasidh Krishna have been ruled out of the first round of the Duleep Trophy due to injuries, as announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday night.

According to the BCCI statement, Ishan Kishan suffered a back injury during the All-India Buchi Babu Tournament and will miss the first round of the Duleep Trophy. The BCCI medical team is closely monitoring his condition and working on his recovery. Sanju Samson has been named as his replacement in the India D team.

Suryakumar Yadav is also sidelined after spraining his right thumb while fielding in the same tournament. He will not be available for the first round of the Duleep Trophy, with the BCCI medical team assessing his injury. His availability for the second round will be determined after a further evaluation next week.

Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna, recovering from surgery on his left quadriceps tendon, is nearing the completion of his rehabilitation and will miss the first-round match. However, all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been cleared to play and will be available for selection.
