Series of Health Camps Scheduled in September as Part of Annual Festivities in Surat

Surat : Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti Celebrations to Include Health Camps Organized by Agrawal Samaj Trust

Surat: Continuing its tradition, the Agrawal Samaj Trust, one of the leading voluntary organizations in the city, is organizing the Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti Mahotsav this year with a variety of social, religious, and educational programs. As part of the celebrations, the Trust will host a series of health camps at the Agrawal Samaj Health Centre, located in Adarsh Society, near St. Xavier’s School on Ghod Dod Road, Surat, on September 8, 14, 21, and 28.

Providing details about the event, Vinod Chidavavala and Arvind Gadia from Agrawal Samaj Health Centre explained the schedule for the upcoming health camps. On September 8, an orthopedic camp will be led by Dr. Vishal R. Agrawal, sponsored by Maliram Subhash Chandra Goyal (M/s Sunil Kumar, Anil Kumar). On September 14, an eye camp, led by Dr. Sagar Shah, will take place from 10 AM to 1 PM. Following this, on September 21, a cardiology camp will be conducted under the supervision of Dr. Rakesh Salunkhe from 10 AM to 1 PM. Finally, on September 28, an Ayurvedic and Homeopathic camp will be organized under the leadership of Dr. Nripesha Gupta, Dr. Hetal Mavdia, and Dr. Blessy Shastri.

Shravan Agrawal, Chairman of the Health Centre, mentioned that as part of the Jayanti Mahotsav, special medical discounts will be offered on September 8, 14, 21, and 28. A Smart Health Pro Premium Checkup package will be available at a reduced rate of ₹1300, covering various tests, including sugar, BP, and Vitamin B12. Participants are required to attend the tests on an empty stomach. Additionally, the eye camp will offer free spectacles to those in need and will also conduct free surgeries where necessary.

The series of health camps, organized as part of the Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti celebrations, aims to provide valuable medical services to the community, reinforcing the Trust’s commitment to social welfare and health promotion.
