Commercial Gas Cylinder Rates Increase by ₹39

New Delhi : Public sector oil and gas marketing companies (OMCs) have announced an increase in the prices of commercial gas cylinders by ₹39 per cylinder. However, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged. The new rates came into effect on Sunday.

According to the official website of Indian Oil, the price of a 19-kilogram commercial gas cylinder in the national capital, New Delhi, has risen by ₹39, bringing the new price to ₹1,691.50 per cylinder, up from the previous ₹1,652.50. In Kolkata, the price has increased to ₹1,802.50 from ₹1,764.50. Similarly, in Mumbai, the cost of a commercial gas cylinder has gone up from ₹1,605 to ₹1,644. In Chennai, the new price is ₹1,855 per cylinder.

Despite the hike in commercial gas prices, the cost of a 14.2-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder remains the same. In Delhi, it is priced at ₹803, and in Mumbai, it is available for ₹802.50.
