Indian Women's Cricket Star Radha Yadav Rescued from Floods in Vadodara

Vadodara - The city of Vadodara has been severely affected by ongoing heavy rains in Gujarat, leading to the overflowing of the Vishwamitri River and subsequent flooding in many areas. Among those caught in the disaster was Radha Yadav, the star spinner of the Indian women's cricket team.

The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) successfully conducted a complex rescue operation to save Radha Yadav. Expressing her gratitude, Yadav released a video message on social media thanking the NDRF team, stating, "We were badly trapped. A huge thank you to the NDRF for saving us."

The 24-year-old cricketer is a key player for the Indian women's team and has been selected for the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup. Radha Yadav has played 4 ODIs and 80 T20 matches for India, claiming a total of 91 wickets. Her safe return has brought relief to the cricket community. The Women's T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held from October 3 to 20 in Dubai and Sharjah.
