Tragic Collision in Bulandshahr: 10 Dead, 29 Injured in Pickup and Bus Accident

Bulandshahr — In a tragic road accident early Sunday morning, 10 people lost their lives, and 29 others were injured in a head-on collision between a Max pickup and a private bus on the Shikarpur-Bulandshahr road in the Salempur police station area of Bulandshahr district, Uttar Pradesh.

The District Magistrate of Bulandshahr, Chandra Prakash Singh, briefed the media, stating that the pickup vehicle was en route from Ghaziabad to Sambhal, while the private bus was heading towards Bulandshahr. The collision occurred with 39 passengers on board both vehicles. Among them, 10 people tragically died on the spot, while 29 others sustained injuries of varying degrees.

The police have identified eight of the deceased: Mukut Singh (35), Deen Nath (45), Brijesh (18), Shishupal (27), Babu Singh (19), Girraj Singh (26), Omkar (30), and Sugarpal (35), all hailing from Aheriya Nagla in Aligarh district.

The injured, who include residents of both Sambhal and Aheriya Nagla in Aligarh, have been admitted to various hospitals in the area. Among the injured are Rajesh, Ankit, Amit, Kitab Singh, Sadhna, Satyendra, Radheshyam, Monika, Goldy, JP Singh, Sonu, Ummed, Gautam, Santosh, Rajneesh, Rampal, Mahendra, Ashok, Ranjeet, Nidhi, Kandhit Sharma, Saroj, Pappu, Praveen, Ashish, Awadhesh, Rajnesh, Aarav, and Arvind.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his deep sorrow over the incident and has instructed the local administration to ensure that all the injured receive proper medical treatment.
