Gujarat's Women-Oriented Schemes Budget Exceeds Rs 1 Lakh Crore for the First Time
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel Reinforces State Government's Commitment to Women Empowerment and Entrepreneurship
Gujarat, India - In a historic move, the budget for women-oriented schemes in Gujarat has surpassed Rs 1 lakh crore for the first time ever. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reaffirmed the state government's dedication to empowering women and promoting female entrepreneurs during a meeting with members of the FICCI Women's Organization (FLO) in Gandhinagar on Wednesday.
The FLO, a women's wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), consists of female entrepreneurs from various sectors. Chief Minister Patel invited the members to his residence in Gandhinagar for an open dialogue and conversation about their experiences and the role of women in the industry.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister highlighted that this year's budget includes more than 200 schemes specifically designed for women, with a special focus on encouraging female-led startups. The attendees shared their experiences and expressed appreciation for the support they have received from the state government.
The innovative initiative of holding dialogue seminars with different sections of society is part of Chief Minister Patel's broader effort to create a sense of belonging for all citizens. By fostering open communication and understanding, the state government aims to better serve the diverse needs of its population and promote an inclusive environment for progress and development.
