JP Nadda Launches ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign in Rajkot

On Saturday, BJP National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign at the Race Course Ground in Rajkot, Gujarat. The campaign commenced with a Tiranga Yatra, joined by Water Power Minister CR Patil and State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, alongside a large gathering of participants.

In his address, JP Nadda highlighted Gujarat's profound role in the freedom struggle, emphasizing the lasting contributions of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He also conveyed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047, underlining it as a goal during the 'Amritkaal' of independence.

Appealing to the youth, Nadda reminded them of the immense sacrifices made for India’s independence. He noted that the struggle involved countless brave martyrs and families who sacrificed their happiness and peace for the freedom of Mother India. Reflecting on Mahatma Gandhi's Quit India Movement of August 9, Nadda remarked on its significance as a unifying force.

The event also featured speeches from Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Rajkot Mayor Nayanaben Pedhadia, among others. The Tiranga Yatra was celebrated with various cultural programs, including traditional dances and music. The procession was warmly welcomed with flower showers and showcased a vibrant array of performances, such as Kanbi Raas, Mandavi, Maniyaro Raas, Beda dance, Panchal’s Doka Raas, Nalkantha’s Padharo’s Manjira Raas, Dangi dance, Shield-Sword dance, Mishra Raas, Rathwa dance of Chhotaudepur, Maldharis’ Gof Raas, Garba, and Chorwad’s Comment dance, adding to the festive atmosphere.
